For a company whose entire business centres around beautiful design, a website with real visual impact is essential. Twentyone has helped one of its long-term clients to showcase its range of products with a striking new site.
Kitchen Design Centre – an independent kitchen manufacturer – needed a website that would capture customers’ imaginations and encourage them to head over to one of their three showrooms for a closer look at its kitchen collections.
Like many businesses, Kitchen Design Centre had a website that had grown over time, resulting in a complicated site map, sub-par search function and less than gorgeous graphics.
Mark Gilligan, from Kitchen Design Centre commented on the old site, saying:
“The previous website had grown along with the company – as we expanded our range of kitchens and services, we added to the site and made sure that all the relevant information was available on there. However, this left us with a website that could be a bit unwieldy in terms of functionality.”
Following in-depth discussions with the team at Kitchen Design Centre, Twentyone in Blackburn came up with an intuitive web design that would use high quality graphics and a streamlined site map to lead prospective customers through the website, effortlessly directing them towards the kinds of kitchens that best suit them.
Sam Fletcher, Marketing Director at Twentyone said,
“A great website is one that engages and inspires. We wanted to take Kitchen Design Centre’s ethos of being customer-centric from start to finish and really translate that into the design of the site.
“We’ve created a website that aims to increase online trust and turn casual visitors into long-term Kitchen Design Centre customers. The site is far user-friendlier now in terms of finding various kitchen styles – visitors can now browse by both style and finish, which makes it even easier for them to find a design that really corresponds to what they’re looking for.”
Kitchen Design Centre’s Mark agreed, adding:
“This new site is designed to grab customers’ interest with lots of high quality images and help them to navigate straight through to the information that interests them.
“What sets us apart from a lot of companies, too, is that every image you see on our website is a kitchen that we sell – there’s no general stock photography on there so customers can be assured that what they see really is what they can get.”
The new site epitomises Twentyone’s dedication to customer focus. Kitchen Design Centre’s site now also features a range of case studies and news articles, helping to build the company’s brand and give its customers a real insight into its mission and values, as well as its products.
