Founded in September 2003, Twentyone was the brain-child of graphic design graduates, Steven Taylor and Michael Cain. 10 years down the line and this dynamic duo are our very capable Creative and Technical Directors!
Straight out of University, the pair’s initial aim was to use their skills to help businesses make the most of the online boom by creating professional websites that would get companies ahead of their competitors. The duo won support from The Prince’s Trust, and Twentyone was born.
Since then, online platforms have changed beyond recognition. And, from its roots in graphic and web design, Twentyone has also expanded, taking on experts in digital marketing, content marketing and business development, including Marketing Director Sam Fletcher.
The dream of creating a flourishing full service digital agency right here in the heart of the North West has been realised. Technical Director, Michael commented:
“When Steven and I discussed starting up a company back in 2003, a lot of people were surprised by our decision – many even felt that we’d fail, due to our inexperience in business.
“But, during the last 10 years, the team at Twentyone has worked hard to develop skill sets that complement one another. From web-based services such as eCommerce and mobile site development, to digital marketing, social media, branding and content marketing, we’ve got the strengths our clients need.”
Marketing Director, Sam added:
