Twentyone is pleased to welcome another great North West organisation on board – we’ve brought new charity Burnley FC in the Community into the fold and will be working with them to create an informative and engaging new website.
With Burnley FC’s recent promotion to the Premier League, the club has strengthened its commitment to being a positive influence on its local community.
This new charity aims to “support, inspire and deliver change” through community-centred themes like sports participation, education, health, social inclusion and community facilities.
When Neil Hart – who’s running the new Community initiative – asked colleagues if they knew of a marketing agency that could help design a brand new website for the organisation, Twentyone’s name was on everyone’s lips: with strong ties to Burnley FC and University College of Football Business (UCFB) Burnley, we were in the perfect position to help!
Our technical director, Michael Cain, drafted a proposal tailored to Burnley’s needs: our 10 years in digital marketing give us plenty of expertise to work with!
Burnley FC in the Community need a flexible and responsive website built on a WordPress platfom that will deliver total control over the events they run, from taking bookings to integrating them into a manageable online calendar. There also needs to be an option for organisations wishing to donate to the charity when signing up to events, which is quite a technical requirement.
It’s good news, then, that our tech-savvy technical director Michael is taking the lead on this project! He commented:
“It’s been a pleasure to meet Neil and discuss his aspirations for Burnley FC in the Community; we’re made up that they’ve chosen to move forward with Twentyone on this project.
“Currently, the charity’s online presence is tagged on to Burnley FC’s main website, but that doesn’t do justice to what they actually offer. We’re looking to create a responsive website that supporters can browse on mobile, tablet and computer – a site that will be a vital business tool, as well as an opportunity to spread the word about the good work Burnley are undertaking here in the North West.
“This new venture continues the great relationship that we have built with Burnley FC over the last four or five years, and will hopefully be the start of another great era.”
