Savoy Timber MD George Cornwell had a very simple brief: he wanted to see his timber merchant group become the number one online decking retailer in the UK. Twentyone was tasked with driving online sales, creating new print collateral and delivering an on-going digital marketing strategy that would build upon the business’s increasingly crucial online presence in today’s digital age.
We began by refreshing Savoy Timber’s brand, creative elements and Magento ecommerce website. Our focus was on emphasising the key positives of great products at rock bottom prices – with expert advice and a ‘nothing’s too much’ service to boot. We call this ‘DIY Made Easy!’
We also implemented an organic search marketing (SEO) campaign, increasing the timber merchant’s visibility in Google Search, and initiated a Pay Per Click campaign to further increase reach to potential customers. The primary strategy for the Pay Per Click campaign involved targeting any potential customer searching for terms such as “decking” and other related terms.
We also marketed the client’s most high-margin products in Google Shopping, which also resulted in a measurable increase in website traffic.
Our technical team redefined the client’s order management and fulfilment processes, enabling them to make a substantial reduction in admin resource and increase their own capacity in doing so.
Since working with Twentyone, the number of transactions generated by Savoy Timber’s site has increased by 319.98%. Meanwhile, the revenue generated by the website has increased by 302%.
